Hi, I’m Cesar Vallejo, ABCDT — the heart behind Woofs & Wags.
As a certified dog trainer with a passion for building meaningful connections between people and their pups, I believe that trust, respect, and clear communication are the foundation of every great relationship. My training philosophy is rooted in positive reinforcement and a deep understanding of canine behavior.
Originally from Queens and after many years in Brooklyn, I now call Ithaca home. Surrounded by nature and a strong sense of community, Ithaca has been the perfect place to bring my dog training practice to life. After a long career managing restaurants, I made the leap to follow my true calling — working with dogs — and turned it into a full-time profession. Now, I get to spend my days helping wonderful clients and their pups while enjoying the natural beauty of the Finger Lakes region.
I’m a graduate of Animal Behavior College and gained hands-on experience as a trainer at Urban K-9 in Brooklyn, NY. Whether I'm helping a puppy build confidence or guiding older dogs through behavioral challenges, I bring patience, experience, and genuine care to every session.
